Victorian Neoclassical Cast Stone Lion Head Pedestal Planter

Victorian Neoclassical Cast Stone Lion Head Pedestal Planter.  This beautiful cement Jardinière features a highly detailed head of a lion with a ring in his mouth on opposing sides. The other two sides depict winged mythical creatures standing on either side of the same kind of planter full of flowers with the lions head facing out. It stands approx. 28in high and measures approx. 26in across.  The top separates from the pedestal.  Excellent condition with very little sign of age or wear.
