Illustrated endpapers. Original unrestored dust jacket, with $1.75 price, is lightly rubbed, with a several chips to extremities and edges, water markings and a few short tears near the spine. Cloth boards are in superb condition with a small water mark at the bottom of the spine, very light scratches, discolorations and other minor signs of age and wear. A remarkably crisp, bright copy in very nice condition. I could only locate one other record of this title in dust jacket, in any condition, selling in more than 40 years. Extremely scarce. Featuring one of the most beloved characters in children’s literature, Curious George has never been out of print in more than eighty years since its first publication.
