Ranchos Church Oil on canvas. A beautiful depiction of the San Francisco de Asis mission church in Ranchos de Taos New Mexico. Signed “Gardetto” it is reminiscent of the 1930 Ranchos Church painting by Georgia O’Keefe (American, 1887-1986). depicting the site as a cluster of rocky forms that seem to grow straight from the soil, merging the land and the building and reducing both to elemental shapes. Measures approx. 37 x 48 in. framed , sight, approx. 30×39 in. Condition: Shows very nicely with bright, vibrant colors and very minimal signs of age and wear. Shipping available upon arrangement.
