Blown Glass and Metal Octopus Sculpture by James “Jay” Seaman.  The octopus has a head of metal with slag glass eyes, a spotted blue, blown glass mantle and eight ridged, blue, stretched glass tentacles.   This impressive work measures approximately 34x24x17 at the extremes.  There are four rubber stoppers mounted below the head as a display stand.  Jay’s work is in high demand and can be seen in collections and public installations throughout the NY Finger Lakes, around the country and beyond, notably at Cornell University and the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge.  Excellent, undamaged condition.  Please see photos for full description and contact me with any questions.
